Title: Proposal Writer
Key Accountabilities/Activities

  • The main purpose of a proposal writer is to draft and edit grant request letters to numerous potential contributors to the Shalom Counselling organization. This will involve follow up and persistence.

Skills & Abilities
  • Strong business writing and English grammar editing capability
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word and/or Lotus Notes
  • Adherence to quality assurance processes
  • High standards of document formatting and presentation
  • Organization Skills
 
Title: Newsletter Editor
Key Accountabilities/Activities
  • The incumbent of Newsletter Editor will oversee and organize the Shalom Counselling newsletter. They will assist in the drafting and editing and lead production of high-quality newsletters and ensure data is accurate.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong organizational/multitasking capabilities
  • High Standards of document production, formatting and presentation
  • High level of proficiency in English grammar editing
  • High standards of document formatting and presentation
  • Experience working with publication tools such as MS office
 
Title: Public Relations/Marketing Liaison
Key Accountabilities/Activities
  • To assist the public relations committee at Shalom Counselling in finding new ways to promote the organization in the community. This person would make contacts in the community as per direction of the committee.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of Confidence and professionalism
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Passion for the Shalom Counselling organization
 
Title: Receptionist
Key Accountabilities/Activities
  • Responsibilities include welcoming and directing visitors to the appropriate person. Accepting payment collection and answering telephone calls. The person would be needed on most Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 8:00 pm and most Saturdays from 9:00 to 2:00 pm.

Title: Network Administrator
Key Accountabilities/Activities
  • Routine maintenance and updates of the computer network.
  • Installing new software and uninstalling software from the network.
Skills & Abilities
  • Able to Configure a network and server from a remote location
  • Able to design a Local-area network (LAN) for the various offices
  • Able to protect networks against hackers
 
Title: Creative Editor
Key Accountabilities/Activities
  • Create & Revamp new promotional materials (flyers, brochures, short multi-media presentations)
Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent Presentation Skill
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience working with publication tools such as MS office
  • Experience working with Adobe PhotoShop
 
Title: Fundraising Coordinator
Key Accountabilities/Activities
  • The purpose of the fundraising coordinator is to organize and run events to raise money for the organization. They will also be required to participate in supporting the existing events that go on throughout the year.

Title: Statistician
Key Accountabilities/Activities
  • Plan and implement data collection as well as process statistical and demographic information regarding the type of services provided and the impact these services have on clients and the community

  • Must have previous experience with data collection and statistical analysis
